image display messy on Wikademia and Selfindulgence.org

I'm not sure where the most appropriate spot on this wiki to leave a message.

I figured out the problem why image pages were displaying messy on Wikademia and Selfindulgence.org - - -

Why they were displaying messy was because embedded exif data on images was parsing incorrectly and giving the errors...

So I made http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:$wgShowEXIF false in in the wiki settinsg.

 : D

So people cannot see exif data. Oh well, though. At least it displays nicely. Maybe in a future version of Mediawiki it will all work more nicely.

Thanks for the input, also I ask questions:About updated. At the moment this wiki is another tool for me to blog, I want to use it as a tool for my learning. The wiki form makes it easy for others also to contribute (though the structure/navigation of it is not adapted for the general audience, e.g. you searched for some kind of forum/agora). Let's just see how it evolves over time.

Thanks for asking, must be confusing, since the url is different than the wiki title :-( I am just too lazy to switch my main domain Iaskquestions.com to my current provider (since server is slow), until then this wiki runs here.

The term means surely different things for everyone of us. And my definitions from the past (in my mind) changed over the years and will change more. For the moment I tend to prefer: tests (and here you have also many definitions) that are theorized + practiced + reevaluated with skills (which skill may be important at a specific moment in time due to internal/external goals/influence). I guess it became again too long and too vague, but that is how it is, leaves more possibilities open. --Erkan Yilmaz 10:46, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

While in my eyes, it is an awesome proof of concept and an awesome implementation, it doesn't seem particularly useful or sufficiently sophisticated yet... nor quite easy enough to use... but nonetheless, still very neat. Additionally, my desire to install it has not become greater than those sort of hindrances I just mentioned. Wikademia

I wanted to use a freer licence than GFDL, but sometimes I find the cc by nc even too restrictive and remind people from time to time to the sentence "You remain the copyright owner and may additionally publish and distribute your material under any terms you choose." in this wiki's Copyright.

Due to SA the derivative work also must be cc-by-nc-sa. So that leaves in this case for cc-by-nc 2 more possibilities for usage.
